Online Fabric Woes

Well there are several places to buy fabric online for diapers.  Cloth diaper makers has a list.  It's a pretty good list if you use the more common fabric choices (PUL, knits for outers, bamboo-rayon, MF).  But I'm kinda picky lol.  Only ones on the list that carry what I want are Nature's Fabrics (here), Simplifi Fabrics {favorite!} (here) and Kindrel (here).
Kindrel and simplifi are Candian but kindrel is still pricy shipping for me (Canada is a wide country).

I'm so in love with the Hemp Fleece that I want hemp fleece and I want it in colours.  And I'd like some cotton fleece in coordinating prints.  Then either sherpa or micro fleece to top it.  Nature's fabric had some print cotton fleece but not now.  I might have to go with Jersey knit but would rather not.

I'm frustrated that each site calls bamboo-rayon organic.  Some still touting the lies of its antimicrobial, hypoallergenic etc etc properties.  I can't help but think that if they stopped these lies then hemp would be more popular and so better variety and accessibility.

I suppose I should email complaints.

Pocket diapers and AIO'S are so popular that materials for these flood the market. Materials for a more natural diaper are harder to find.  Synthetic fabrics are growing.  You can now get pul Minky.  And "micro terry" is for sale.  Micro terry is MF topped in terry, so its still MF, except people think its safe for bums.  It can go against them sure, but I think calling it safe is pushing it.  In my personal opinion if a fabric has any content that can't touch baby's skin it has no place in a diaper.

So there you go, that's my pity party fabric woes.
